Eight years ago when the Hard Rock Casino opened in Tampa, no one could have imagined it would become one of the largest casinos in the world. After a $75-million expansion, the Hard Rock Tampa has catapulted to the sixth-largest gambling house on the planet. While nationally, this may make Tampa a more desirable destination for tourists, it also means jobs.
