Creative Loafing's sixth annual Sensory Overload took place Saturday night at the Glazer Children's Museum in downtown Tampa.

The three-story event transformed the normally childs'-play areas into a multi-stage showcase for music, theater, interactive soundscapes, digital video installations, performance art, dance, food and beverages. The winner of CL's Show Us Your Neighborhood" Photo Contest was also announced.

A party broke out in the  elevator, the main transport between the three stories of showcases and play areas at the GCM.

 

Areas regularly reserved for childs' play were transformed into arenas for performance art.

Participants watch as Moving Current Dance Collective perform in the Water's Journey Exhibit.
