If you are a hard-core mixed martial arts (MMA) fan and you enjoy watching the blood spill live, then you should not miss the action at Robarts Arena in Sarasota this Saturday at 7 p.m. Among the 20 professional MMA fighters brawling for fame and cash will be two of Tampa's finest: Haki Lee and Eddie Boza. Also on the Saturday fight card and well known in Tampa MMA circles are Dave "Pay Me" Yost from St. Petersburg, Carlos Gonzales from Dunellon, and Nicolae Cury from Deerfield Beach.
The event will be the second one hosted by the Sarasota based MMA promotion company Art Of Fighting (AOF) and will provide nine of the fighters from the first event on Jan. 24, 2009 the opportunity to duplicate their successes. Among the eleven new additions to the fight card are two debuting fighters from the Tampa Bay area: Ron Ritter from Largo and Raul Amaya from Bradenton. The main event will consist of Tom "Trauma" Sauer vs. Rocky Batastini.
