For two nights out of the year, iconic downtown venue The Vault undergoes a costume change. Next month the space will be decorated with enchanting fairy lights, floral-themed drinks and appetizers.
On Friday-Saturday, July 21-22, The Vault will host “Vault of Dreams,” an interactive interpretation of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” featuring live music, dancers and specialty performers.
A similar event landed on Franklin Street last year (see photos below), but The Vault is probably known more for its Halloween-themed immersive experience, Vault of Souls, a trip through The Vault leading guests on a journey to its basement, where a shocking surprise awaits.
The event, hosted at 611 N Franklin St.—downtown’s former Exchange National Bank—will explore “the depths of human dreams and literary themes including love, magic, dreams, jealousy, mischief, and transformation,” according to the press release.
CW’s Gin Joint Head Mixologist Roger McQueen, and Executive Chef Maria Lola Sierra have teamed up to create floral-infused cocktails, appetizers and desserts to bring the immersive experience of a Midsummer Night.
