Today we finally get a look at Guy Ritchie's big-screen adaptation of Sherlock Holmes starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. As a kid, I was a fan of both Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's source material and the series of Holmes films starring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce (both The Hound of the Baskervilles and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes are classics that deserve a look the next time you get a hankering for an old movie), and as such I have been anticipating this modern re-telling for some time.
