DON’T MISS …
Warhol: Art. Fame. Mortality. One larger-than-life artist collides with another when the Dalí Museum welcomes 35 paintings, 20 drawings, 50 photographs and an assortment of films by Andy Warhol from the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. The exhibition promises to explore how Warhol learned from Dalí’s fame and developed, to a legendary degree, his own obsession with celebrity — from silk screen paintings of Jackie O to screen tests that he filmed with visitors to his Factory studio during the 1960s. Museum visitors can claim their own 15 minutes of fame by making personal video screen tests in an interactive area. Jan. 18-Apr. 27, The Dalí Museum, One Dalí Blvd, St. Petersburg, 727-823-3767, thedali.org.
