The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance is hosting a free Health Insurance Workshop on Tuesday, Oct. 12 to help get the creative community covered.
The interactive workshop starts at 1 p.m. via Zoom and encourages participants to ask questions about the Affordable Care Act (ACA) as well as private health insurance. ACA open enrollment is from Nov. 1-Jan. 15 thanks to an extension from the original cutoff of Dec. 5.
Some of the topics to be covered include cost of deductibles and copays, pre-existing medical conditions, and coverage for partners or dependents.
Though the class is free, pre-registration is required.
