Local ghost tour business St. Peters Ghosts touts itself as The ‘Burg’s original haunted history tour, exploring “the dark side of the sunshine city” at various events throughout the month.

Every first and second Friday and Saturday of the month (until mid-November), the company hosts a haunted history night walk that departs from the St. Pete Pier and visits various haunted spots (including the Vinoy, pictured).

While these stories and historical accounts can get a bit spooky, the hosts will keep it more PG when there are kiddos around (kids 10 and under are free). Less kid-friendly renditions of these haunted tours typically include a few stops at local bars and haunts for a beer or two.

Tickets to these weekend haunted history walks include admission into the St. Petersburg Museum of History’s many exhibits—redeemable at any time. St. Pete’s Ghosts also hosts private tours, the perfect outing for your out-of-town guests.

St. Pete’s “Haunted History Night Walks” happen on the first and second weekend of each month—and depart from the St. Petersburg Museum of History at 7 p.m.—with tickets starting at $25 for adults.
