THROUGH SUNDAY: Chances are, sometime this week, you’ll breeze through Grand Central, The EDGE, or Deuces Live Main Street – St. Pete’s Main Streets — even if we didn’t tell you to go. So instead of a “go and do this!” plea, here’s your “this is all the awesome shit you’re gonna see” notification. If you weren’t already planning ahead for the social media “Best Selfie” contest (selfie-stick friendly), you might want to start. This week St. Pete’s Main Streets band together in an effort to raise awareness for the locally-owned businesses and home-grown sounds in St. Pete’s neighborhoods. The music palate ranges from folk to electronic; the nearby eats, pubs and retail will finish off the ensemble. Bring that selfie stick, empty stomach and hometown curiosity to be part of Music on Main Streets’ own jam band.
