On Sunday, the recently-opened 3 Dot Dash in Seminole Heights will have some competition in the vegan wiener game when St. Petersburg-based Nah Dogs brings a pop-up to Microgroove on June 2.

Nah Dogs proprietors Jenny and Jeff Howe announced their company’s Seminole Heights debut on Tuesday morning. Veg-heads and meat-eaters alike are welcome.

As CL pointed out, Nah Dogs’ menu is 100% vegan and soy-based. Customer favorites like vegan chili are also on the menu, and Jeff told CL that the Microgroove special will be Nah Dogs’ Yo Soy Dog with vegan nacho cheese sauce, street corn salsa, jalapenos, crunched tortilla chips and garlic mayo (see pic). All items are $5-$10.

The pop-up goes down from noon to 4 p.m. Organizers have made it clear that attendees will not be allowed to park on Cappy’s property (the pizza spot’s parking in front and the gated parking across the street are all off-limits). Overflow parking is available in front of Olsen’s VW and across the street from Independent Bar & Café.

Not sure if Jeff — who plays in St. Petersburg hardcore band Horsewhip — will offer a discount on your dog if you buy the group’s debut LP as part of your record shopping haul.
