St. Petersburg’s own Earl Noble from downtown St. Pete studio Black Amethyst is hanging on in the hit Ink Master Season 6 competition on Spike TV.

Surviving last night’s Tut for Tat competition, Noble is one step closer to the $100,000 grand prize, an editorial feature in Inked magazine and the title “Ink Master.”

This week’s flash challenge tested the competitors’ ability to work in detail with only paint that reflected natural colors as they adorned an Egyptian sarcophagus in just four hours. With 14 artists remaining in the competition, strategy has become the name of the game. Next week’s July 28 episode features naked models being used to create “mind-blowing illusions,” for the fifth challenge.

The series airs weekly, Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Spike TV, so make sure to tune in and support our local talent, Earl Noble!
