Follow a day in the life of a manager at a “Hooters-style” restaurant in Support the Girls. While you might expect this to be a film about all the ways these restaurants demean women — and how their chicken wings aren’t really that good anyway — this film tells a story of empowerment and how the women who work in these establishments support each other.
