*A little bit about me, I have spent the past two years in sports radio, both producing shows and going around to the different area teams getting audio. I also created and co-hosted a Lightning based radio show two seasons ago. I am hoping to continue that in the very near future with CL in some capacity. I have found myself in and around the Lightning the past two seasons for both the good and the bad and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to write about the sport that I love.

First things first, for all of you familiar with my radio work or my work covering the Lightning, thank you for following me over to Creative Loafing. For those of you that have no idea how you got here and are looking for a movie review, welcome to you as well, stick around a bit, you may learn to love hockey as much as I do*

The search for the new Lightning management team continues, with no real clue who will be the guy to be the next G.M. By all appearances,  that seems to be the focus right now with the NHL entry draft quickly approaching. It is difficult to even suggest who the favorite is at this point. Steve Yzerman took his name out of the running. It could be Steve Yzerman. It could be Pierre Mcguire. It could even still be Doug Risebrough. Then again, it could be someone whose name has not even been brought up to this point. One thing is certain, the new regime is a lot better about keeping things quiet then the last one, and that is a good thing.

On a much more somber note, as many of you have heard already, condolences go out to Kurtis Foster and his family after the death of their infant daughter. She passed away May 10th, 5 days after her birth.

Today's Lightning question: Who are your choices for Lightning CEO, GM, and head coach and why? Leave your thoughts in the comments below or contact me directly:
