The Tampa based mixed martial arts (MMA) promoter, Real Fighting Championships (RFC) is offering Jason Ball from the UK a shot at the the RFC lightweight title on Nov. 13, 2009 at the A La Carte Pavilion in Tampa. If Ball defeats current RFC Lightweight Champion, Edson Berto from Winter Haven, Fla., the belt might move to England for the very first time in Tampa MMA history.

The match up of the two professional MMA fighters, however, is not a first time by any means, since they already faced each other at RFC 18 last July. In spite of Berto's home turf advantage Ball took the win via split decision after a three-round slug fest that could have very well taken place in a boxing ring as a stand-up battle of fists.
