Lenscratch, considered one of the 10 photography-related blogs you should be reading by Source Review, Wired.com, Rangefinder and InStyle Magazine, is featuring local artist Selina Román in a feature that’s part of the site’s homestates series.
“I unapologetically love this state,” Roman tells Lenscratch writer Jeremy Chandler of Florida, adding, “there are a lot of twisted things that happen here. I think someone likened it a syphon, that all the bad, weird, strange things drain into the sunshine state. I think a lot of the criticism is deserved but at the same time, some of the things that make our state loathsome makes it sort of wonderful.
Last week, Roman’s recent photo session at the Tahitian Inn was featured in Megan Voeller’s visual art column, “The inn crowd.” Click here to read more of Chandler’s Lenscrach profile.
