There’s a week-and-a-half left until Christmas, guys, and if you need to sit down but stay in the spirit, Tampa Theatre wants to get you through the home stretch with films like Will Ferrell’s “Elf” (Dec. 14), a weeklong run of the 1946 classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” (Dec. 15-21) and a Christmas Eve matinee screening of Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas.”

A New Year’s Eve showing of “Rent” finishes the break out strong, and buying advance tickets is highly recommended.

Tickets to see movies at Tampa Theatre start at $7.
