NY/LA Production, a nonprofit, woman-centric creative agency founded by Nyla Hazratjee, presents this celebration of Muslim women including short films, dance, and spoken word.

Iman Zawahryโ€™s โ€œI Am From Palestine,โ€ Sara Rangooniโ€™s โ€œLeveled,โ€ and Rashad Mubarakโ€™s “Claraโ€™s Fruitโ€ will be screened, along with a spoken-word performance by Sam Obeid.

Dancers include the University of South Floridaโ€™s Bulls Dabke troupe, ballerina Reham El-Hennawey and traditional South Asian/fusion hip-hop artists Zara & Anannya Khan.

There is no cover for Celebrating Muslim Women happening Thursday, Nov. 13. in Tampa.
