In its seventh year, Tampa Zine Fest is tapping dozens of vendors — including zine-makers, local artists, authors and radical publishing houses — for a free-to-table, free-to-attend summertime celebration punctuated by a workshop from lifelong zine guy David S. Wallens (44:16) and a live performance lineup featuring noise artists (Dylan Houser, Funeral Guy), folk (Ashleigh Britton Addison) and poetry (Dennis Amadeus). Also on the bill? St. Petersburg electro-pop duo Blestian, which just tore up the Comfort Inn for Poisonville Songs Project.
Parking is free, and vegan food will be provided by Uncle Mince’s World Famous BBQ seitan.
Tampa Zine Fest VII. Sat., July 6. Waters Avenue Church, 609 W. Waters Ave., St. Petersburg. 6-10 p.m. INFO.
