Tampa’s Jobsite Theatre is putting an ’80s spin on Shakespeare’s most famous offering.

On Sunday, Jan. 30, the company—showcasing “Romeo & Juliet” through Feb. 3 as part of a three-week, COVID-shortened run—makes the play accessible to an even wider audience by staging an American Sign Language-interpreted presentation at David A. Straz Center for the Performing Arts.

Easter egg, former Creative Loafing Tampa Bay Editor-In-Chief David Warner plays Juliet’s nurse and Prince Escalus.
