In case you don’t follow them on Twitter, the Tampa Bay Vipers just released pictures of their new uniforms Tuesday night following a press event.

The home uniforms feature lime green helmets and dark green jerseys with gold numbers, while the away attire features the same helmets but with a white jersey and dark green numbers.

Potential starting running back (or if you ask the Twitter comments, quarterback) and USF-grad Quinton Flowers was excited to see the uniforms, as he’s been wearing green and gold throughout his football career.

“You know I’m kind of used to that green and gold, I’ve been doing it in college, then in high school, and I’m back at it again, so you know it’s going to be a great feeling,” Flowers said in an interview on Twitter

The Vipers will open their 10-week season on the road for the first two weeks, starting February 9 at 2 p.m., when they play the New York Guardians in MetLife Stadium. Their home opener is against the Houston Roughnecks at 2 p.m. on February 22 at Raymond James.
