Matthews utilizes pours, various airbrush techniques and staining to explore the ways in which language, in both the textual and visual sense, fail us. Swing by to experience the latest set of hanging works, which “seeks new languages that neither proclaim nor insist, but invite multiple subjectivities.”
Admission is free, and open to all, just bring cash for beer donation.
The gallery is located at 4636 N. Florida Ave., with street parking available around the building.
The exhibition runs from June 29 through August 2.
