A bloody good time is on tap on Franklin Street this month when Tampa Theatre’s annual horror film series kicks off next Friday, Oct. 13 with a double feature (“Friday the 13th,” “13: Game of Death”).

Saturdays this month include a matinee, plus two more films, with Sunday, Oct. 15 reserved for early evening, kid-friendly storytelling. Three of the movies (including “The Addams Family” on Sunday, Oct. 15) are free for kids 12 and under. A dozen “Ghosts Of Tampa Theatre” tours are also on the books through Halloween, with a special, three-hour “Late-Night, Lights-Off Paranormal Investigation” happening Friday-Saturday, Oct. 27-28.

A Nightmare On Franklin Street happens at Tampa Theatre from Oct. 13-31, and more information, plus a full schedule, is available via tampatheatre.org. Subscribe to Creative Loafing newsletters.
