A couple of well-known funny ladies are in town this weekend. But that's just a part of the comedy schedule. There's also magicians, local comedians and a popular "Jackass" to see.

CL Pick: Wanda Sykes at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Sykes' reputation as an outspoken comedian is very much in tact. Kool Bubba Ice at Tampa Improv. It's hard to ignore Kool Bubba Ice on stage, with loud colorful costumes and an energetic set. CL Pick: Margaret Cho at Tampa Improv. Cho has built a strong fan base over the years with her socially-aware, unafraid commentary and comedy. Steve-O at Side Splitters. One of the most notorious "Jackass" members has carved out a stand-up career over the last few years. Jack Willhite at Snappers Grill & Comedy Club. Willhite's a one-man theatrical show, with music, costume changes and plenty of comedy. Larry Myles at Coconuts Comedy Club (at MJ's). At first glance, Myles doesn't seem like a politically-correct guy. And that first impression is the right one. G. David Howard at Sporty's On The Beach. Howard's weekly residence at Sporty's features the longtime comedian drawing from his decades of stage experience. He mixes his regular material with plenty of crowd work to provide the kind of set only a true stand-up veteran can provide.
