For the twenty-second year in a row, the Sarasota Film Festival will take place March 27 – April 5, 2020 at 323 Central Ave. in Sarasota.
A regional festival gem, the SFF has built itself a reputation as one of the best places to enjoy the independent visions of local filmmakers, as well as directors, actors, and writers from around the globe.
Previous special guests have included stars like Rosanna Arquette, Kevin Bacon, Pierce Brosnan, Bo Burnham, Steve Buscemi, Leslie Caron, and Chevy Chase.
Not only do film appreciators get a first glance at the work of up-and-coming directors and writers, but the festival’s interactive panels gives fans a chance to have a conversation with them. The festival-grounds are also child and dog-friendly, so the entire family can join in.
