Does the idea of downtown St. Petersburg’s often drunken First Friday nauseate you? Head to the Old Northeast neighborhood instead. It’s where Dylan Carey’s eight-year-old comedy show, The Third Thought, stages an evening of longform, interactive improv that’ll have you cracking up and coming out of your shell, too. A good seat and a treat awaits if you get to Black Crow Coffee Co. ahead of the 8 p.m. start time, and attendees are invited to join the afterhang at the nearby Northeast Tavern afterwards.

Fri. Sept. 6, 8 p.m. No cover. Black Crow Coffee Co. Old Northeast, 722 2nd St. INFO.
