When Carrollwood Players puts on Jane Martins Talking With this weekend, it will very much be a family affair for me. My mother, MaryAnn Bardi, is co-directing (with Mary Ann Newton) and has been the driving force behind the production, which will see all proceeds go to cancer-battling charity Susan G. Komen for the Cure. My sister Rosemary, a familiar face on the Playhouse stage over the years, will be performing in the show. This time, my mom even roped my lovely wife Heidi into playing the part of a slightly unhinged auditioner. (Quite a stretch.) Even my beloved pug Cubbie will be making his stage debut. Do I bring flowers for the dog?
