The event's purpose is to celebrate those who have won the battle with cancer and recognize those we have lost throughout Tampa Bay.
Survivors, patients, caregivers, family and friends of those who have been touched by cancer are invited to join in an evening of activities, from 4-9 p.m.
Each cancer survivor may invite up to five family members or friends to join them for this night of celebration.
Tickets are $10 and are available online.
Registration for the Expedition Survivor includes exclusive open access to all zoo exhibits and rides. Live music, photo stations, and prize drawings will also be occurring throughout the evening.
A memorable Cancer Tribute Ceremony will be held as well as a luminaria ceremony to honor survivors and those who have been lost to cancer.
