Sigh. Again. Well I suppose the Tampa Bay Rays losing 2-3 to the Kansas City Royals is better than getting shutout by Baltimore. They managed to score against a team with a better record than the Orioles so thats progress, right? By the end of this four-game set, they might be in form to actually win a game, which would really help considering the playoffs would be next.
The Royals had scored their winning run by the third inning, notching one a-piece in the first three frames. Rays starter Matt Garza just couldnt get it done a few times Thursday night. Im beginning to think everyone of our starters with the exception of David Price throws his absolute worst with two outs already secured. Gregor Blanco led off the first inning with an infield single that should have been an error charged to Garza. He advanced on a one-out single by Billy Butler and scored on an RBI-ground out by Kila I piss off people typing Ka'aihue.
