Stop the presses: soccer is coming to Tampa!
Ok, now stop the crickets.
The U.S. men’s team will be in town June 8 to take on Antigua and Barbuda to open the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers; the U.S. has never faced the island nation that I’d never heard of until today. You can tell me your impression when they hit town for a showdown at Raymond James Stadium.
As hosts to the event, Tampanians have access to a special presale, which started today at 11 a.m. It ends tomorrow at 2 a.m., so get cracking, soccer fans! Use the code “G8DOWNTOWN” to purchase tickets in general fan sections.
