Derby day happens this weekend, and you better have batteries. The Tampa City Athletic Association’s signature event is back in the West River District on Saturday when Hooch and Hive once again plays host to an afternoon of vibrator racing.

Organizers say “pre-race shenanigans” start at 7 p.m. ahead of the first race at 9 p.m., but two hours seems like a long time to just sit there with a supercharged dildo in your pocket. Regardless, it’s BYOV, but Hooch will have vibrators for sale, too (batteries included).

And before you get your panties in a bunch, know that a portion of proceeds from the $10 suggested donation for entry will benefit the Spring of Tampa Bay, which has been providing safe spaces and empowering services to survivors of domestic violence and their children for four decades now.
