Back in the days before the internet, folks passionate about some subjects — from skating and punk rock to art and poetry — shared their obsessions via homemade, Kinkos-copied zines. But that went away with the advent of the digital tubes, right? Wrong! For some folks, there will never be anything quite like handling and reading a physical publication made with love on a shoestring budget, and Tampa Zine Fest 4 will bring ‘em all to Ybor’s Cigar City Cider & Mead for an evening of buying, selling and trading, as well as raffles, food-truck eats and live music by Mave’s Arcade. Come support a vital niche subculture; you’ll probably find something to love.
