Aaliyah Selene Pasols
I'm Aaliyah Selene Pasols, a 24-year-old Puerto Rican writer, editor, and big city dreamer.
I currently reside in South Florida and am a senior at Florida International University. Writing is my passion and has been since I was old enough to write. I have freelanced for numerous publications such as Miami New Times, Miami Herald, Mieux Magazine, and South Florida Media Network. I previously worked at THINK Magazine, a luxury lifestyle publication, as an Assistant Editor for nearly four years. I recently wrapped up a summer internship at WFTS-TV ABC Action News in Tampa, where I functioned as a Digital Production Intern. Currently I'm working at Creative Loafing Tampa as their Writing Fellow this fall. The fellowship program was created by Google News Initiative.
When I'm not writing, I enjoy roller skating, reading, listening to music, and discovering the newest Miami hot spots.
My end goal is to work as a writer and editor in New York City, where I hope to move to very, very soon!
