Sometimes, the truth hurts. And apparently, Tampa Bay Water couldn’t handle the truth. With Dimmitt’s unwavering, breathtaking black and white photographs, he captures how quickly we can devastate our land due to saltwater creeping up the spring-fed creeks of the Chassahowitska National Wildlife Refuge. Artists wield much power, and Dimmitt’s work proves how art can still push people’s buttons. claytongalleries.net. —Caitlin Albritton
