Norval William Alleman III, founder of in-home recording studio NorvalSound, is a former sound engineer at the Palladium Theater, and he’s recorded it all: opera, orchestra, hip-hop, punk rock, the good, the bad, and the downright brilliant. Recording music is a personal experience, but he makes musicians feel comfortable and at home, and records a hell of a sound. norvalsound.com. —Colin O’Hara
