Runners-up: Columbia Restaurant, Ichicoro
Due to a lack of clarity in the Readers’ Poll ballot (made up entirely of reader-generated nominees), voters may have been confused about which of two similarly named restaurants they were voting for in the category of Best Soup: Stone Soup Company (in Ybor) or Stone Soup Cafe (in St. Petersburg). (The two businesses are not related.) Because of that confusion, and because each is eminently worthy of recognition, we have awarded the Readers’ Pick for Best Soup to both.
