From noon to 7 p.m. Sept. 20, the Columbia Restaurant will showcase throwback prices on food and beverages during its annual 1905 Day, which celebrates the restaurant's 110th anniversary this time around.

Owned and operated by fourth and fifth generation founding family members, the Columbia's locations in Ybor City, Sarasota, Clearwater, St. Augustine and Celebration will charge diners what the patrons of yesteryear might've paid.

Chicken & Yellow Rice "Ybor," Russian-style merluza and boliche (eye round beef) will cost $2.95, as the 1905 Salad is featured at $1.95. Other items — including sangria by the glass and pitcher (95 cents to $4.95), American coffee (5 cents) and flan (50 cents) — will be discounted as well.

The restaurants won't be taking reservations or take-out orders throughout the day.
