Tampa Bay airports are getting serious about feeding their travelers. Tampa International has recently let non-travelers dine at the airport, as long as they take a trip through security. Now St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport is ready to flex their Tampa Bay connects.
Usually, locals find themselves booking flights out of the St. Pete-Clearwater when they have wanderlust on a budget. Now the airport is taking a hint from Tampa International by bringing some heavy hitters into its dining lineup. In a multi-million dollar renovation plan which is already in the works, the airport will be bringing in Mazarros Italian Market and 3 Daughters Brewing with a sitdown bar.
Soon locals can get a taste of home prior to flying off or returning home, and visitors can be introduced to our rich food culture before leaving the gates.
But will this Mazzaros location be open on Sundays? Might be worth paying for airport parking.
