Two hours or so ago, 7venth Sun Brewery revealed the opening date for its anticipated Seminole Heights location. The much-loved Dunedin-born brewery's new facility at 6809 N. Nebraska Ave. is scheduled to debut with a grand opening celebration, which kicks off at 11 a.m. Aug. 12.

Last year, co-founder Justin Stange told CL that the rehabilitated 18,000-square-foot Tampa building, much larger than the flagship, allows 7venth Sun to expand its wood program (a cellar is planned for aging beers in wine and spirit barrels and then blending their results). In addition to a tasting room, an event space and the ability to bottle and can are also highlights.

The grand opening — whose tap list is to be announced (stay updated through the Facebook event page) — features collaboration beers with eight breweries (that's Green Bench, Escape, Mastry's, Stations of the Craft, Hidden Springs, Cigar City, Angry Chair and Cycle); the Buddy Brew Coffee food truck and collaboration coffee brews; the Ramen & Waffles food truck; live music from Heavy Pets; and a Lowry Parcade & Tavern pop-up.

Get excited.
