Although the restaurant space of Baba will debut sometime next week, the bakery is now open and serving up bites like sandwiches, kebabs, and fresh baked goods like pastries and house-made bread.

The concept is located at 2701 Central Ave. in St. Pete.

Baba's bakery and cafe is also brewing fresh coffee which you can grab on-the-go, or hang around and admire the evil eye decor. The new patio seating with umbrellas and hanging lights will have you wanting to stand the heat.

Hours for the bakery are 9 a.m.-4 p.m., so slide by for your midday coffee to get the first look of the latest cafe in town.
