St. Petersburg has added another bar to its arsenal. Bar Chinchilla, at 439 1st Avenue N. The Chinchilla describes itself as an "an intimate beer and wine bar featuring truly great and unique liquids."

Slide by to try one (or all) of the eight brews the tap list which is IPA heavy with a blonde, stout, pilsner and sour up for grabs for those who can't handle the hops.

If the booze doesn't you get you through the door, that cute ass chinchilla branding will. Bar Chinchilla had a soft opening last Wednesday and has been steadily growing their neighborhood following since.

The new bar's happy hours runs from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. seven days a week. Hours for BC are 3-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m.-midnight Friday, noon-midnight Saturday, and noon-10 p.m. Sunday. More details to come as the grand opening is announced.
