The celebrity chef behind Barefoot Contessa Back to Basics is headed to Tampa this fall.
Inside the Straz Center for the Performing Arts' Morsani Hall, Ina Garten, host of the award-winning Food network show, will dish behind-the-scenes stories about living in East Hampton, New York, with her husband Jeffrey, filming Barefoot Contessa (now in its 11th season), writing cookbooks, and sharing food with family and friends. A Q&A session with the audience will be featured as well.
Garten is set to release her latest cookbook, Cooking for Jeffrey: A Barefoot Contessa Cookbook with everything from lunch to dinner recipes, in October. Her Tampa appearance, planned for 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2, will have a limited number of autographed copies on sale, though preordering the book is highly recommended.
Tickets, which start at $38.50, go on sale to the public July 29 online, by phone and in person through the Straz Center ticket office.
