• Hosted most recently four years ago (because, futbol), the Independent Cafe and Bar's World Cup celebration shows the majority of the games — the ones after 9 a.m. — on a big-screen projector in its beer hall, so head there Friday. • Beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, Infusion Brewing Co.'s latest food battle, Salsa Showdown, spotlights a beloved dip. Competitors are asked to bring their salsa entries to the brewery between 1 and 1:45 p.m., as the tasting kick off soon after. Ultimately, the crowd determines the Best in Show — whose creator walks away with a gift card to Infusion, alongside bragging rights. • Wondering what to do with Dad on Sunday? Take him to Zephyrhills Brewing Company, where the Father's Day Beer Release is planned. Between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m., taproom guests score pours of Danny – Disciple of Darkness, a bourbon barrel-aged stout with cocoa nibs, vanilla and chipotle.
