Bon Beer Voyage offers many types of beer tours, or “voyages,” such as International Beercations, International Barge Beercation Cruises and Custom Beer Tours. But the Beer Safari Weekend isn’t a voyage at all. Sure, you can go all out and purchase hotel accommodations with the Bon Beer Voyage group and create your own “staycation,” but the budget-friendly route would be to drive to the highlighted destinations for a fraction of the cost. But either way, participants will enjoy private brewery tours, beer-inspired meals, and a visit to Tarpon Springs, Gulfport and Downtown St. Petersburg if they so desire.
Tampa Bay is one of many stops on this nationwide tour. For this leg, several well-known local breweries will be featured, such as Saint Somewhere, Cigar City, Dunedin Brew Pub, Peg’s Cantina and Seventh Sun.
This buzz-worthy event is a must for craft beer connoisseurs in and around Tampa Bay. It will run from Feb. 10-12, so consider playing hooky on Friday and enjoying a cold one with fellow connoisseurs from around the country.
