At 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, those who give a damn about clean water, including farmers, small business owners, local elected officials and, yes, craft beer lovers, will gather at St. Petersburg's 3 Daughters Brewing for a town hall event.
The gathering, inspired by attempts to block clean water protections (like the fracking ban) in Tallahassee, according to a news release, will celebrate Florida's natural resource, as well as highlight federal, state and local support for clean water.
Throughout the evening, St. Petersburg City Council member Darden Rice, 3 Daughters chemist and lab director Jim Leonard and Ray Wunderlich III, urban farmer and educator, will speak.
