Polish up your hog, there’s a new rock n’ roll biker bar and gastropub in town.

Born Free Pub & Grill is now up and running at 110 E. Waters Ave. in Sulphur Springs. The concept celebrated its soft opening on September 21, and plans on hosting its grand opening celebration on Saturday, October 24.

From noon-4 p.m. you can slide by Tampa Bay’s newest watering hole to get your bike washed for free (tips are accepted) by Tattoo’d Sweethearts. All you have to do is buy a plate of food or a bucket of beer and you’ll receive a bike wash ticket. Catch a buzz while you get your hardware scrubbed. Attendees can also stack up on raffle tickets to win prizes like tattoo certificates, vehicle details, bar tabs, and more.

The biker bar also hosts happy hour from noon-7 p.m. daily, as well as Ladies Night every Thursday, pouring up half-price drinks. Born Free hosts bar and table seating, but if you’re looking for a little action while you sip, you can get in on a game of pool or focus on the television, where the concept shows live sports games.

Not quite ready to get in with the gang? Take out is available to get a taste before diving into the comradery of fellow regulars. Owning a hog isn’t required to hang at Born Free, but it would be a lot cooler if you did.

Hours for the new pub are noon-1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and noon-3 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
