Well, according to Boss Bitch Pizza, it means being a woman who actually knows what she wants to eat the first time she’s asked.
Quite frankly, the answer should always be pizza.
Founder of Boss Bitch Pizza, Tyler Berlingeri dreamed up Boss Bitch earlier this year with a group of friends.
Yes, the name is designed to turn heads, but the real kicker is that each of BBP’s pies are made with cauliflower crust.
Made from quality, fresh ingredients, Berlingeri says she wanted to ditch the grease and guilt that is usually associated with pizza, “You eat it all the time, shouldn't be putting crap into your body, we wanted to give pizza a facelift.”
The pizza joint is delivery only, and can be ordered through Uber Eats, Postmates and Doordash.
For the last few weeks, the pizza proprietor has been doing trial runs and taking feedback from customers and changing recipes accordingly.
“We want to meet our customers’ needs, while fitting in with a healthier lifestyle,” Berlingeri adds.
The gluten-free, vegan crust recipe was created by Berlingeri, and she called in two other team members to help assemble the menu and take on orders.
The menu consists of 12-inch cauliflower crust pizzas, salads and appetizers like cauliflower bites.
Pie offerings are all named after iconic women like The Jackie Kennedy, The Donatella and The Audrey Hepburn, made up of tomato sauce, skim mozzarella and grass-fed steak.
Just a heads up, the hours of operation for Boss Bitch are Sunday through Wednesdsay 5-9 p.m., Thursday 5-11 p.m., Friday and Saturday 5 p.m.-2:30 a.m.
