The Bootleggers Brewing Co. location in Brandon is officially closed while the brewery prepares for the soft opening of its new Tampa location at 10256 Causeway Blvd. Although its new spot doesn't sell food, it's nestled in a plaza surrounded by restaurants like Canopy Road Brunch, Strandhill Irish Pub, and Kiwami Sushi.

According to a Bootleggers representative, the new Tampa taproom will celebrate its soft opening this Saturday.

Although the original Brandon brewery and taproom is closed, Bootleggers’ Home Brew Supply Shop, which sells brew kits of generic beers, is still open at 652 Oakfield Dr.

Get ready to taste of Tampa Bay’s most prized brews, like the New England Style IPA,  Lushable Crush IPA and Ice Cream Sammich Milk Stout, when Bootleggers Brewing Co. is up and running at its new Tampa location this weekend. The Brandon-born craft brewery also makes small batches of ciders and meads as well.

Hours for soft opening are 4 p.m.-11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m.-midnight Friday, noon-midnight Saturday, and noon-8 p.m.Sunday. Upon its grand opening, hours are set for noon-11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon-midnight Friday and Saturday, and noon- 8 p.m. Sunday.
