Bulla Gastrobar opened its first Spanish-inspired tapas bar locally back in September. And, now, the one-of-a-kind feature that sets Tampa’s SoHo location apart from the other Bullas out there is ready to debut on the fifth floor of The Morrison, a mixed-use building that Zoës Kitchen and The Blind Tiger also call home.

On Friday, Luna Lounge introduces its rooftop goodness — top-shelf Spanish beer and wine, imaginative cocktails and made-to-order sangria — to the public. The stylish bar-with-a-view’s hours of operation are 5 to 11 p.m. Thursday, and 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

But keep in mind: Seating at the entertainment district’s newest hangout is first come, first served.

“We’re very excited to add the next big hotspot in the SoHo area,” said Carlos Centurion, president and founder of Centurion Restaurant Group, which operates Florida-based Bulla, in a statement. “Luna Lounge will fit perfectly with this community, and I can’t wait to show it off to locals and visitors alike.”

For food, guests order from an elevated list of selections like preset cured meat and cheese tablas, ahi tuna tartare and salmon rillettes.

Bulla has four locations across the Sunshine State — Tampa, Winter Park and South Florida included — and one in Atlanta. Additional sites are planned for Charlotte, North Carolina, and Plano, Texas.
