They’ll cut you off after awhile, but the best attraction at Busch Gardens Tampa always seems to find its way back on tap.
This afternoon, the local theme park announced the return of free beer for a limited time starting May 22.
Guests who are 21 years or older, can score one 7 oz. draft beer per day from the Overlook Taproom on the second floor of the Serengeti Overlook Restaurant. However, if you’re a Busch Gardens Pass Member, you can double fist those frosty little brews, and grab two complimentary beers!
The free beer starts pouring daily at 11 a.m. , and runs all day until 90 minutes before the park closes.
Free beer has been a Busch Gardens staple for over 50 years, all the way back to when the theme park and zoo was owned by Anheuser-Busch. But the park ended the promotion in 2009. In 2019, during its 60th anniversary, BG brought free beer back. Recently, the popular promotion seems to return for a short run during the summer months.
The free beer announcement was part of the park’s unrolling of new Summer Nights attractions, including a Boom Box Dance Party in Stanleyville, a Beach Bash in Gwazi Plaza, and a new drone show, which happens every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on the Festival Field.
