Specialty craft beer events are something that Cajun Cafe on the Bayou and owner Paul Unwin are becoming known for in the Tampa Bay area. I attended my first Cajun Cafe beer event, the first annual Sour, Lambic and Berliner Wiesse festival on June 16, 2012. I happily discovered it was a well run and attendance-capped event. Beer flowed seemingly seamlessly, with ample samplings of innovative brew styles and flavors from near and far.
When I first read about the festival and considered the $40-something price tag, I wondered if it would be worth the price of admission (having endured long lines at tasting events run by community and other restauranteurs throughout the area.)
